On similar lines, renowned PC maker, Intel has announced the release of cheaper Classmate PCs which are priced at 150-200$, and would come packaged with LINUX as an operating system alternative to Windows; these new PCs would only be available for masses in the developing countries. All this would improve education among masses through this interactive medium - the PCs.
